LITC Hosts Event to Help Taxpayers Get Their COVID Stimulus Funds

The Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic also hosted a one-day event in May 2024 aimed at assisting taxpayers obtain their Covid stimulus funds before the statute of limitations expired on those refunds. The event assisted over 50 taxpayers with the help of 7 volunteer attorneys, 4 volunteer students, and 4 employees from the Taxpayer Advocate Service of the Internal Revenue Service.
