Bio
Professor Daniel Lopez will be joining UC Law SF faculty as an adjunct Professor during the SP25 semester to teach Mergers & Acquisitions.
Professor Lopez is currently a Partner at the San Francisco office of Orrick and serves as a member of the M&A Private Equity Group.
Daniel advises private equity funds and their portfolio companies in the tech and life sciences sectors on various strategic transactions, including leveraged buyouts, dispositions, carveouts, debt financings, growth equity investments and secondary transactions. Daniel also counsels boards, special committees, investors and other key stakeholders on fiduciary duty, securities law, corporate governance and equity compensation matters.
