- On Jan. 9, Ugo Mattei was appointed lead counsel for the Piedmont Region in the constitutional challenge of the Anti-Immigration Statute (Decreto Salvini) in the Italian Constitutional Court.
- On Jan. 19, Ugo Mattei was voted President of the National Committee that is promoting the popular proposition of the Commons into the Italian Civil Code.
- Richard Zitrin was the principal outside drafter of SB 820, which passed and became effective as Section 1001 of the California Code of Civil Procedure on January 21, 2019.
