Bio
Irene Lee is an Associate Attorney at Cannata, O’Toole, & Olson, and practices in the San Francisco Office. Prior to joining Cannata, O’Toole, & Olson, Irene was a legal intern at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, focusing on civil liberties and data privacy issues. She also worked as a legal intern for the Palo Alto-based company Pied Parker, addressing concerns related to securities law, venture capitalism, and employment law. She most recently worked for the nonprofit organization Common Sense Media, where she evaluated the safety and compliance of educational technology used in K-12 classrooms.
Irene is admitted to the State Bar of California and earned her law degree from the University of California, College of Law San Francisco. As a student, she received the Finalist 2017 Award for Excellence in Legal Research and Writing from the Continuing Education of the Bar and the University of California. During law school, Irene served as a Senior Articles Editor for the UC Law SF Law Journal and was a member of the Moot Court Team and the Moot Court Board. and was awarded Western Regional Best Brief in the 2017 Thomas Tang National Moot Court Competition. She received her undergraduate degree in Politics from New York University, graduating with honors.
Irene was born and raised in Orange County, California, but has since relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area. She enjoys playing the guitar, watching movies, exploring new food trends, and spending time with family and friends.
