The Certificate of Studies in Law (CSL) is a two-semester, part-time program designed to provide professionals a foundational understanding of legal reasoning and doctrine in order to better understand the laws and legal institutions that affect their work.
HPL Program
The Master of Science, Health Policy & Law (HPL) is a fully online, jointly conferred degree program. Created collaboratively with educators and professionals from UCSF and UC Law SF College of the Law, the program provides students with the tools and knowledge to navigate legal reform and policy impact within the health care system.

Summer Legal Institute
UC Law SF offers in-person and online summer classes in a variety of subject areas. All in-person courses are taught at UC Law in San Francisco, adjacent to federal, state, and local courthouses, San Francisco City Hall, and many of the city’s leading law firms.
