Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program

For more than a decade UC Law SF law students have partnered with the IRS and the United Way to offer free tax preparation and filing services to low-income community members.  During the 2023 tax filing season, the UC Law SF Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) clinic will be in-person, located at 200 McAllister Street at Hyde in San Francisco.  The clinic will run on Mondays from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, beginning February 5, 2024, through April 15, 2024, excluding February 19 and March 4.  The VITA clinic is drop-in only and does not take appointments.  Clients are encouraged to wear a well-fitting mask (N95, KN95, or equivalent) at all times while at UC Law SF.
