Quality teaching and scholarship are longstanding traditions of UC Law San Francisco. For generations, students have learned from top legal practitioners and scholars. Our professors are partners at some of the country’s leading law firms, judges in federal and state courts, and researchers who are shaping tomorrow’s legal landscape. 

The UC Law SF community is proud to recognize the importance of teaching and scholarship through three annual faculty awards:

These awards celebrate the breadth and depth of our faculty’s teaching and scholarly innovation, honoring the highest forms of excellence and dedication to teaching and research, ensuring all students at UC Law SF receive a world-class legal education. 

Recipients have designed innovative curriculum and created inclusive classrooms, shared their scholarly expertise, mentored students, and published in the top legal journals and influential publications.
