Bio
Mahnoor Yunus, J.D. is a Medical-Legal Partnership Network Fellow for the UCSF/UC Law SF Consortium on Law, Science & Health Policy. She is currently working to help develop a statewide medical-legal learning collaborative in California focusing on the health, legal rights, and needs of people with cognitive impairment or dementia.
Mahnoor graduated from UC Law SF in 2022 with a concentration in Health Law and Policy. At UC Law SF, Mahnoor was the Executive Editor of Acquisitions of the Hastings Race and Poverty Law Journal and was a Research Assistant for Professor Lois Weithorn, where she researched and analyzed case law related to life-sustaining medical treatment for minors. She received an Outstanding Achievement in Pro Bono Award for completing over 150 hours of pro bono service during her time at UC Law SF. Mahnoor received her BA from UC Santa Barbara in Political Science & Middle Eastern Studies.
