Bio
Alexia Diaz is currently one of our Assistant Registrar at UC Hastings. Previously, Alexia worked as a Claims Examiner in the workers’ compensation insurance industry for 6 years. She graduated from Mills College, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Ethnic Studies. She recently moved back into the higher education sector because of her passion for learning and helping others. She is most excited to have the opportunity to interact with the current students, faculty, staff, and alumnae on a daily basis. Some of the services Alexia will assist the Registrars include Veterans education benefits, academic records, enrollment/transcript/diploma requests, exams and grading activities, certification of degree, all while ensuring the confidentiality and accuracy of student records. When she’s not working, Alexia enjoys discovering new music, learning new languages, traveling, and watching the Warriors, Giants, or 49ers games.
