Bio
Allison Drutchas is an attorney for leading vehicle technology companies working to remove legal barriers and build the regulatory framework for self-driving cars. She currently serves as Policy and Product Counsel for Waymo, formerly known as the Google Self-Driving Car Project. Prior to joining Waymo, she worked for General Motors as Autonomous Vehicles Counsel and taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. She was featured on the 2018 Forbes 30 Under 30 – Law & Policy list. Professor Drutchas received her B.A. in Philosophy from Davidson College and her J.D. from Yale Law School. She serves on the Board of Trustees at Davidson College, where she played and coached Division 1 soccer.
