Bio
Professor Caroline Yuen is an adjunct Professor of Law at UC Law and a Senior Researcher with the Center for Innovation (C4i). She co-teaches the course “Startup Legal Garage: Patents” with Professor Robin Feldman.
In her research role, Caroline conducts complex legal and policy research at the intersection of technology, health, and medicine. Her work helps guide policymakers and stakeholders to find workable solutions for creating a more balanced pharmaceutical marketplace.
Prior to joining UC Law, Caroline was based in the U.K. and practiced as a commercial and property litigator at DLA Piper in London. She holds a law degree from Oxford University and a Master of Laws from UC Berkeley Law School, where she graduated on the Dean’s List. She is a qualified solicitor of England and Wales and licensed attorney of the California Bar.
