Bio
Cassandra Shryock is a Deputy Attorney General in the Correctional Law Section of the California Attorney General’s Office. Her practice focuses on federal constitutional and state-law torts related to prison and parole conditions at both the trial and appellate levels. Cassandra has successfully argued in both the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the California Courts of Appeal.
Cassandra graduated from UC Law SF in 2014. While at UC Law SSF, Cassandra participated in six moot court competitions—as either a competitor or student coach—and served as a co-chair of the Hastings Moot Court Board. Cassandra won the Cardozo/BMI National Moot Court Competition and was the 2012 Champion of Hastings’ David E. Snodgrass Moot Court Competition. She currently teaches Appellate Advocacy and Legal Research & Writing II.
