Bio
Adjunct Professor David Aram Kaiser is an appellate attorney in private practice, who has taught at Hastings and Golden Gate University Law School. He was a judicial staff attorney at the California Supreme Court for 11 years. Along with his law degree, he holds a Ph.D. in English from UC Berkeley. He is a Senior Fellow with the California Constitution Center, UC Berkeley School of Law and writes frequently on issues of California law for the Supreme Court of California Blog (http://scocablog.com/). He has also published in the San Francisco Daily Journal. His scholarly work includes California Constitutional Law: Reanimating Criminal Procedural Rights After The “Other” Proposition 8 (with David A. Carrillo), 56 Santa Clara L. Rev. 33-78, 2016. He is a graduate of Hastings and is currently serving as a member of the Alumni Board for the UC Law SF Journal.
