Bio

Elizabeth M. Link is a full-time Arbitrator and Mediator specializing in complex commercial, business, employment and real estate disputes, practicing throughout California, nationally and internationally.  She brings to her ADR practice 20 years of experience as a civil litigation attorney where she represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of practice areas.  She is also a Conflict Coach, a Conflict Resolution Skills trainer, a non-profit board trainer and retreat facilitator.

Ms. Link earned her Juris Doctorate degree in 1988 from the George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C. and she is licensed to practice law in California and Washington, D.C.

After law school, she was an associate attorney for Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves and Savitch in San Diego where she practiced commercial, banking, construction defect and real estate litigation.  In 1990, she moved to San Francisco to work for Long & Levit where she represented insurance companies in national environmental coverage litigation.  In 1993, Ms. Link opened her own law practice in San Francisco which specialized in business and employment litigation.  She co-founded the law firm of Link & Warhurst in 1996 which specialized in business, employment and real estate litigation.  In 2003, she became Of Counsel to the Law Offices of Steven H. Herman practicing business, employment and real estate litigation.  Ms. Link began her ADR practice in 2006 and became a full-time neutral in 2008.

Ms. Link has been extensively trained in the evaluative, facilitative and transformative styles of mediation and she routinely blends all of these styles into her mediation practice.

In 2010, she founded the San Francisco Legal Forum and she continues to moderate this monthly speakers series on legal topics held at the City Club of San Francisco.

She has served on many non-profit boards of directors including The City Club of San Francisco, The San Francisco County Foster Parents Association, The Junior League of San Francisco, and Public Glass, Inc.
