Bio
Hillary Baca is Counsel at Nixon Peabody LLP, specializing in labor and employment. She advises clients on all areas of state and federal employment law, including wage and hour compliance, personnel decisions and terminations, disability accommodations and leaves of absence management, and pay transparency law compliance. She also conducts workplace investigations into allegations of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. She has litigated myriad employment matters in state and federal court on behalf of employers. Hillary graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Art History in 2007. She graduated from USC Gould School of Law in 2012. While at USC, Hillary was an editor for the Southern California Law Review. Hillary, originally from San Diego, moved back to the Bay Area in 2015. She spends her free time taking her dogs (Vinnie and Mona) to Ocean Beach, car camping with friends and family, watching too much television, and eating and drinking in the Mission District, where she lives with her spouse, the dogs, and her two cats (Fig and Fifi).
