Associate Dean for Teaching

Bio

As Associate Dean for Teaching, Jennifer supports faculty teaching development, including efforts to help faculty incorporate AI tools into their teaching and adapt to the new California Bar Exam through teaching resources, colloquia, and other guidance.

Jennifer also manages the College’s Office of Academic Skills Instruction and Support. In that role, she oversees academic support programs, including the Sack Program, Academic Support, and LEOP academic support, and advances skills instruction across the curriculum through programmatic and pedagogical innovations designed to promote student academic success.

Jennifer Freeland teaches Legal Ethics, Professional Responsibility, and Torts.

Jennifer graduated magna cum laude from UC Law San Francisco in 2014 and is thrilled to now serve as a faculty member and Associate Dean at her alma mater.
