Joyce Winters is a seasoned Corporate Transactional Attorney with over 25 years legal experience working in a variety of industries, including technology, retail and banking with a focus on intellectual property transactions, commercial contracts, and negotiations.
Joyce’s legal practice has been in a variety of settings, both as in-house Senior Counsel and as outside counsel for Fortune 500 companies (such as Wells Fargo, the Gap brands, and Salesforce), to a mid-size software data analytics companies (FICO), as well as providing general counsel transactional services to retail clients and technology start-up clients in the eCommerce and software industries.
Joyce has expertise with a wide range of legal issues and subject matters including intellectual property and software licensing issues, digital media and digital products, intellectual property law, entertainment and technology, advertising and marketing compliance, online privacy, payments and e-commerce, general corporate and commercial law, and Internet-related issues, data privacy and regulatory laws.
Joyce is a graduate of UC College of the Law, San Francisco and Boston University, College of Communications. She lives in Marin County with her husband, 2 daughters, and their lovable terrier-lab mix.
