Kristy Topham is a senior attorney with the Civil Central Staff at the California Supreme Court. She previously served for fifteen years as a career law clerk for the Honorable Elizabeth D. Laporte (ret.) and the Honorable Bernard Zimmerman (ret.) in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California in San Francisco. After leaving the federal court to move to Japan, she worked for several years as a foreign attorney at Anderson, Mori & Tomotsune in Tokyo before returning to San Francisco where she worked as a legal advisor for the California Supreme Court Committee on Judicial Ethics Opinions prior to joining the Civil Central Staff.
