Bio

Mimi Glumac joined UC Law SF’s Legal Research and Writing faculty following five years as Lecturer-Faculty in the Political Science and Criminal Justice Studies Programs at San Francisco State University, teaching legal writing, oral advocacy, and substantive law classes to undergraduates.  Mimi served as a Judicial Extern to the Hon. Carlos T. Bea, senior United States Circuit Judge of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and worked as a Staff Attorney at the Ninth Circuit, specializing in Federal Appellate Motions, Certificate of Appealability Requests in Habeas Corpus Appeals, and Prisoner Civil Rights Appeals. Mimi also taught Legal Writing and Research and Moot Court at UC Law San Francisco (then Hastings College of Law).  Following her time at the Ninth Circuit, Mimi worked in private practice as an Associate at Gordon & Rees LLP with the Commercial, Business and Tort Litigation Groups in the San Francisco offices.

Originally from San Francisco, Mimi received her B.A. in Criminal Justice from San Francisco State University and her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she served as the advocacy director on the Moot Court Board.
