Bio

Morgan Wells, Esq. is the Associate Director of the MSL Program. She graduated from University of California Davis School of Law in 2013, where she was awarded Order of the Coif and a pro bono certificate. From 2014-2021, she served as in-house counsel for the Nyingma association of organizations, which encompasses the legal needs of approximately two dozen non-profit and religious organizations. She concurrently served as the director of operations for Mangalam Research Center for Buddhist Languages, where she supervised grants administration and program activities. She has experience in immigration, employment, tax, and business law, especially where those areas intersect with the needs of non-profit/tax-exempt organizations.

Morgan currently serves as the Executive Director and a board member for the Center for Creative Inquiry, a non-profit organization based in Berkeley, California. She teaches mindfulness and meditation programs with a special emphasis on applying mindfulness to daily life.

In her role as Associate Director of MSL, Morgan has a keen interest in supporting the personal and professional goals of MSL students, and a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
