Ramy Alsaffar is a Fulbright scholar who graduated from Louisiana State University in 2018 with a master’s degree in computer science, specializing in data science. He joined the Center for Innovation in 2018 and serves as the Senior Data Scientist. In this role, Ramy navigates complex data challenges and thoroughly analyzes problems, developing suitable models and conducting comprehensive statistical analyses. His contributions are crucial to integrating these analyses into prospective papers, providing data-driven insights to influence policy discussions on Capitol Hill.
Alsaffar is the author of Evaluating Classifiers’ Optimal Performances Over a Range of Misclassification Costs by Using Cost-Sensitive Classification.
