Bio
Adjunct Professor Sarah Hawkins received her B.A. in English from the University of San Francisco in 2002. She earned her law degree from UC Law SF College of the Law in 2008. Since graduating from law school, Professor Hawkins has dedicated her career to criminal prosecution. She began her career as a Deputy District Attorney in Contra Costa County. In March of 2010, she moved to the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office where she prosecuted gang and homicide cases. In 2015, Professor Hawkins became an Assistant United States Attorney. She currently works in the General Crimes Unit prosecuting a wide range of federal cases.
