Bio
Stephanie Richardson is a Deputy Attorney General at the California Department of Justice. She works in the Criminal Division in the Appeals, Writs, and Trials section. Her work focuses on researching and writing responses to criminal appeals and often involves Constitutional, sentencing, and factual issues. Prior to joining the DOJ, she served as a Deputy District Attorney in Alameda County. Stephanie graduated from UC Law SF in 2020 and survived the chaos of taking the bar during a global pandemic! When she’s not working, she loves to cook, spend time with family, and cuddle with her dog, Misty, while binge-watching reality TV.
