Steven Harris is Jeremy (14) and Leia’s (10) father and Maya’s husband. Steven graduated from Cal with honors in history and developed ADA national policy with the Justice Department. He was Hastings’ top oral advocate in the Snodgrass Competition and participated on the National Moot Court Team. This is Steven’s 20th year teaching LW&R, Moot Court, and Critical Studies courses at Hastings. He is a one-on-one tutor for the California Bar Examination and developed a specialty for distance tutoring, including South Korea, United Arab Emirates, India, France, Mexico and Peru. He taught Essay Advantage, Performance Test Advantage, and pre-bar courses for Bar/Bri Bar Review for a decade and now teaches his own Performance Test class. Steven authored WINNIN’ TIME! and The Trigger List, two books about law school/bar exam preparation. He frequently defeats slot machines and blackjack dealers in Las Vegas and he loves living in Alameda. Go Bears!
