Bio
Tracy Kuo Lin, PhD, MSc is an Assistant Professor of Health Economics in the Institute for Health & Aging, Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She is also affiliated with the Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies and the Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health at UCSF and the Middle East Centre at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Her research interests center on health system financing and resource allocation around the world. The primary objective of her research is to formulate and implement strategies to enhance care while incorporating patient preference, containing the cost, and maximizing coverage. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Health Policy, Conflict and Health, Journal of Cancer Policy, Cancer Medicine.
Professor Lin received her doctorate in International Relations from the University of California Davis and her master’s degree in International Public Policy from University College London. She was a Health Economics Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
